Anna says, "Being diagnosed with cancer is a bit of a life laundry and I wanted to capture the essence of the experience. I found keeping a journal very helpful, as that way I could note down my feelings, which weren't always very noble and ranged through the whole gamut of fear, amusement and frustration, without further burdening my family and friends. I believe writing about the illness can be very therapeutic. I'm sure it's played a big part in my own recovery. At the moment I'm well and active, although I remain very alive to the fact that my illness may return."
