Lady Marks announced the winners of the 2010 Callum Macdonald Memorial Award for poetry pamphlet publishing at the NLS on 20th May. The 2010 joint winners: • 'And for that minute', by Leonard McDermid – published by Stichill Marigold Press, Kelso • 'Arc O Möns', by Christie Williamson – Hansel Co-operative Press (Christine de Luca), Edinburgh. The runner up was Mariscat Press with Lesley Harrison's 'One bird flying'. The NLS also have a display in their George IV Bridge building featuring past winners of the award. 
Tessa collects the £5,000 cheque on behalf of Helena Nelson of Happenstance Press, winner of the 2010 Michael Marks award. Pictures and details about the pamphlet fair at the Edinburgh International Book Festival are available on the events page  |
